Spring Has Sprung at LifeStart Village

Real-life Bunnies, Super Heroes, and Fun: LifeStart Village Welcomes the Season with the Annual Spring Event

LifeStart Village’s Annual Spring Event

LifeStart Village celebrated its annual Spring Event this past Saturday and not even the gray skies could keep everyone from feeling the sunshine. Both the wonderful team at LifeStart Village and Salt Lake City’s Best Seat in the House brought together a fun weekend to welcome in the Spring.

As LifeStart Village and Family Support Center continues to grow in community supporters each year, so do our holidays and events! Saturday’s Spring Event was the best yet as everyone seemed to turn out for the party, including a few familiar faces and some new ones!

It wouldn’t be spring without a few bunnies or rabbits and LifeStart Village was overrun with them this weekend with the help of Taylor’s Traveling Troupe. Children at LifeStart Village were invited to join in the bunny-only petting zoo throughout the day as they participated in games, prizes, food, and the annual egg hunt.

And, of course, we have to thank our watchful friends in the skies Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and Luna Lovegood who stopped by the petting zoo and for a slice of pizza or two.

Thank you to all of our partners who helped make this past weekend possible including Ann Lobos and the local Rotary clubs for stuffing 5,000 eggs that were hidden all across LifeStart Village, 500 of which contained special prizes and gifts.

We can’t thank Best Seat in the House enough for partnering with us for another terrific event and Little Caesar’s Pizza for providing lunch for everyone in attendance.

As LifeStart Village and the Family Support Center continue to grow, we are excited to collaborate with our partners to bring more year-round fun to all of our programs.

Whether it’s hunting for eggs in Spring or door-to-door for candy at Halloween, you can expect to find Heidi, Mattea, and all of the LifeStart Village staff and residents outdoors nearly anytime of year celebrating with each other all that life has to offer.
