7 Years of Support from Synchrony Financial

Synchrony Financial Continues to Help Strengthen Families, Protect Children, and Prevent Abuse in Salt Lake County through 2022!

Since 2016, Synchrony Financial has generously helped hundreds of families escape homelessness, abuse, and addiction by supporting the Family Support Center’s LifeStart Village. Last year, support from Synchrony Financial directly assisted more than 60 Utah families at LifeStart Village made up of more than 100 children and 60 parents.

Family Support Center’s LifeStart Village is a unique multi-phase residential support program that provides housing and resources for single-parent families in Salt Lake County to help recover from homelessness, rebuild economically, and heal relationships.

Last year’s support from Synchrony Financial helped to provide resources for 100% of parents to resolve their court mandates and 95% to regain full custody of their children. 86% of families that stayed in the program for 30+ days went on to find stable, permanent housing. Currently, 5 babies have been born at LifeStart Village to stable and drug-free parents this year, 3 of which born to first-time mothers.
