Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (8 classes)

This 8-week program helps individuals in addiction recovery use mindful awareness to manage reactions to triggers.
Participants learn how to take a step back, be present in the moment, and experience discomfort without self-medicating. They learn techniques such as urge-surfing and how to put space between a trigger and an automatic reaction.
The course is taught in a group setting by a licensed clinical social worker.
